Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) - How to Apply? 1. Eligibility Criteria To apply for the PM Internship Scheme, candidates must meet the following criteria: ✅ Must be a student or recent graduate. ✅ Should be interested in gaining industry experience through internships. ✅ Must have valid educational qualifications as required for specific internships. ✅ Must be an Indian citizen. ·        Ineligibility Criteria: The following persons are ineligible to participate:   Ø  Graduate from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NISs, NIDs, and IIITs.  Ø  Those having qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDA, MBA, any master’s or Higher degree.  Ø Those undergoing any skills apprenticeship, internship or student training under programme under Central Government or State Government scheme.  Ø Those who have completed apprenticeship, training under National Apprenticeship training scheme (NATS)or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) at any point. Ø If the income of any of the family members of the candidate exceeds Rs. 8 Lakh for FY 2023-24. Ø If any member of the family is a permanent/ regular government employee.  2. Steps to Register and Apply Step 1: Visit the Portal Go to the official PM Internship Scheme website: 👉 https://pminternship.mca.gov.in/login/ Step 2: Create an Account - Click on "Register" and enter your details:
- Full Name
 - Email ID
 - Mobile Number
 - Password
 
  - Verify your account via OTP sent to your mobile/email.
 - Login using your credentials.
 
 Step 3: Complete Profile - Fill in personal details (Name, Date of Birth, Contact Info).
 - Upload necessary documents (ID Proof, Resume, Educational Certificates).
 - Enter academic details like college/university, degree, CGPA, etc.
 - Provide additional details like skills, work experience (if any), and preferred internship sectors.
 
 Step 4: Search for Internship Opportunities - Go to the Internship Opportunities section.
 - Use filters to refine search based on:
- State/UT
 - District
 - Sector (IT, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
 - Field (HR, Sales, Research, etc.)
 - Distance from current location
 
  - You can apply for up to three internships at a time.
 
 Step 5: Apply for Internships - Click "View" to check the internship details.
 - If interested, click "Apply".
 - Answer three short questions related to the internship (optional but recommended).
 - Accept the Declaration and Consent by checking the boxes.
 - Click "Submit" to complete the application.
 
 Step 6: Track Application Status - Go to My Applications section.
 - Check whether the application is:
- Applied
 - Offer Received
 - Offer Accepted
 - Waitlisted
 
  
 Step 7: Withdraw or Modify Application - Candidates can withdraw applications before the deadline by clicking "Withdraw" in the internship tile.
 - Once the deadline closes, no modifications are allowed.
 
 3. How to Raise a Grievance? If you face any issues while applying: - Click "File a Grievance".
 - Select a Category (Portal Related / Internship Related).
 - Provide a detailed description of the issue.
 - Upload supporting documents (if any).
 - Click "Submit".
 
 Your grievance will be tracked under these statuses: ✅ Pending (Processing) ✅ Disposed (Resolved) ✅ Clarification Sought (Requires more info) ✅ Re-submitted (Sent back after clarification)  |
